Everything Bungieās adding to Destiny 2 in 2019
With Bungie becoming an independent studio, Destiny 2 is shifting dramatically this fall. In September, Bungie will release Destiny 2: New Light, a free-to-play version of the game. The studio will also introduce cross-save for the first time. This will allow players to move their progress across consoles, PC, and eventually Google Stadia. Bungie is also launching Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, a paid expansion for Destiny 2. Players will travel back to the Moon from the original Destiny and reunite with Eris Morn. Spectral enemies from Destiny-past are haunting the Moon. Guardians will need to take down remnants of Crota, Omnigul, Skolas, and more to discover the darkest secrets inside the Earthās moon.
Both New Light and Shadowkeep will be released on Sept. 17. A completely new economic model and an influx of players will drastically change the Destiny 2 landscape. In this post, weāre collecting everything we know about Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Destiny 2: New Light, and Destiny 2ās new cross-save feature.
